On the "Prowl": Thoughts on "Vision of the Possible"

As a new month is before us, once again +Jonathan Huie once again is as perceptive as ever with this Daily Inspirational Thoughts.   This one is especially poignant and is ever so in line with the mission of this channel about achieving and enhancing the Vision of the Possible:

Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams.
Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential.
Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in,
but with what it is still possible for you to do.
- Pope John XXIII

Sometimes good things fall apart
so better things can fall together.
- Marilyn Monroe

There are no hopeless situations;
there are only men who have grown hopeless about them.
- Clare Boothe Luce

When you say a situation or a person is hopeless,
you are slamming the door in the face of God.
- Charles L. Allen

Notations From the Grid 4 the Week-End: What would the original 1984 Mac look like if Jony Ive designed it in 2015?

Notations For the Week-End: On Musk & the drive to be the Best.......

Welcome to the W-End here in #outsiders. It has been an interesting morning to be "on the Grid" assessing the thinking and updates by all. The first one especially caught our eye:

His vision, drive and sense of purpose is beyond Words. For all who may not know by now, he's the man behind Tesla and SpaceX And his quest to colonize Mars. He's a example to be followed by us all who strive in our own way to create the "Vision of the Possible". It was also telling as the founder of AOL, Steve Case, shared this which is also worth noting for reference: Enough Said..

Notations From the "Grid" Today: On Climate Change & #Davos2015

Davos  2015 is before us.   This is the annual talking shop by the World's Elite who will coverge on the beautiful city of Davos to discuss the World as they see it.    One recent feed which we at Outsiders hope they focus on is noted:

Whether talk will result in concerte action is the profound question.   We look forward to making the "Virtual Rounds" in Davos as it begins January 21.

On the Eve of the New Work Week: Reflecting Upon Challenges & Opportunities

The World Elite will converge upon Davos in a little over 9 Days to deliberate the World.  This is as the World has come to grips with the aftermath of the tragedy in Paris and it continues to be witness to the horrors of Syria, Iraq and the rampage by Boko Haram in Nigeria.

Beyond the political and terror challenges which the World is addressing,  the biggest economies present profound challenges as well as The United States Grows, China Slows, Japan stumbles and other key economies continue their precarious journey in the new year:

As we went to press this week-end here in outsiders, we here in California were witness to a week-end of rain.   Yet such does not mitigate the broader challenges being faced by the World today.   It is such which will continue to present challenges to especially the less fortunate in the World:
We conclude this with one of our visionaries, Bill Gates.   The team at Gazzelles at the end of 2014 reflected upon Bill Gates' top books which we wanted to share exceprts of:

Bill Gates' Top 5 Books -- a voracious reader, Bill Gates shares his Top 5 books for 2014, including what he calls "the best business book I've ever read." Titled Business Adventures by John Brooks, it's a 1969 classic recently reprinted given Gates' enthusiasm for the book. Notes Gates, in this Fortune article highlighting his five choices:
Shortly after we met, Warren Buffett loaned me this collection of New Yorker business articles from the 1950s and 1960s. I loved them as much as he did. Brooks's insights about business have aged beautifully, and they are as true today as ever.
One of the other five is a fiction book to be released Dec 31 titled The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion. Gates loved the insights it gave him about relationships (Peter Drucker read fiction books to give him similar insights into human behavior). Take 1 minute to read up on the other three books - then grab a couple to read over the holidays!

Mark Zuckerberg,  the Facebook Supremo, has resolved to start a Book Club for the Year--taking a page out of Oprah.    Encouraging all to read and engage is part of a legacy to create the Vision of the possible.    In this spirit we leave you all with this clip as our journey endures:

Notations For the Week-End: On Co-Existence & Hope

Being Witness to History is gratifying when such unity is shown.   There are profound long-term challenges to create a true "Vision of the Possible".    It is especially as we're seeing horrific reports of the aftermath of the suicide bombing in Tripoli Lebanon and the suicide bombers who blew themselves up in Nigeria.    The reports indicate that they were little girls.

What was shown in Paris can be start:

To create the "Vision of the Possible" there is no other way to insure freedom and realize the true reality:

We have to remain hopeful.
