V-Thought 4 the Week: President Obama Speaks at a Memorial Service for Nelson Mandela

The President of the United States spoke at the Mandela Memorial.  I found it striking how Lord Blair, the former Met Commissioner, noted how Mandela made Obama possible.  Not withstanding some of the so-called controversy over a "selfie" with Prime Minister Cameron and the Danish Prime Minister and the handshake with Raul Castro, he spoke for many of us about truly the art of the possible.   Despite all that he had to contend with, he finally got his law degree in 1989 underscores a sense of the possible.    May we all be ever so inspired by Madiba.
